Not long after Little Snarget's own libelous posts were published, they were taken down by the person on whose Facebook Timeline he'd posted them. A couple of days after I published my blog post about the matter, however, Little Snarget posted another libelous Facebook screed, alleging that "the cosmic slut" -- who, he apparently felt compelled to repeat, is a former hooker -- had given a "bad STD" to the guy who'd informed Little Snarget about her. Little Snarget vowed to pursue justice against the "cosmic slut" and to make her wish she had never heard of him. He bragged that he can do this because he is rich and the "cosmic slut" is poor. He said he will really get started getting even with her beginning this Wednesday (tomorrow), when he is finally "done with" Kevin Trudeau. He figured Trudeau would be arrested today, and then he could go about his business of Operation Cleanup. (See the PS to this post.)
Little Snarget added that the "cosmic slut" is no doubt responsible for many people dying of cancer because she is out to stop people like him who cure cancer naturally. He called her a cancer and a tumor that needs to be eliminated from society, for everyone's own good and safety. And he called for people to send in any information they had about the "cosmic slut." That sounded amazingly like an implied death threat or an incitement to do violence against someone. Not cool. Not cool at all.
And yes, I saved screen shots of that one too, as did a few other folks.
That post was taken down too, as well it should have been. End of story? Maybe, maybe not.
I had several reasons for taking my own post down. It is probably temporary, and the post has not been destroyed or deleted; it is merely waiting in the wings, along with the supportive comments that some of you were kind enough to send. And I hasten to assure you that none of this has anything to do with my being directly threatened by Little Snarget. I am taking a wait and see attitude about the entire thing. However, if he does threaten me further, either with legal action or something worse, and/or if he continues to spread lies about me, then I will do more than merely re-publish the post.
It seems that I have a very high tolerance for this kind of thing -- maybe a higher tolerance than I should have. I'm not just talking about my tolerance for actionable bits of drivel, but also my tolerance for apparent misogyny. One of the commenters to my now-temporarily-hidden posts called out the little man's lies as a clear sign of the contempt for women that, unfortunately, still prevails on the Interwebz as well as in society at large. (And lest anyone attempts to point out that Little Snarget just luvs the ladies, I'll point out that compulsive/relentless/aggressive womanizing and misogyny are not mutually exclusive. In fact, they often co-exist quite happily.)
The misogyny I am talking about sometimes expresses itself in attempted "slut shaming," which is particularly silly (and probably actionable) when it is founded on a total fabrication. I have always tried to be balanced regarding these issues, and I make an honest effort not to see sexism or misogyny in every little negative thing that is said about an individual woman. But in this case, given the context and given what I know of my little detractor, I think my commenter may very well have been right.
In any case, I just want to reassure you that this issue is not dead. Evil has not won.
And speaking of evil not winning... My pal Salty Droid has just announced that he is putting blogging on the back burner (sort of) for a few months while he digs into some other projects, some of which he can and has talked about, some of which he can't talk about yet, and all of which, I imagine, have something to do with fighting the forces of Scamworld. He announced it on today's post.
If you don't mind my quoting myself (it does seem rather vain, but I've never pretended to be anything else), I'll repeat what I wrote as a comment to this post on his blog:
As people sometimes like to say to comfort themselves when they’re not sure that everything is really okay: “It’s all good.” But in this case I suspect that it really is all good. What’s good about this is not only that Jason will be more able to focus on Actually Getting Something Done (even as the little Droid continues to bleep around in the background and cough up some blog posts as the mood strikes him).Yeah. What the "cosmic slut" said.
But there’s something else good about this too, potentially: the fact that it may create a false sense of complacency in Scamworld.
I can imagine, for instance, the Wimberley Mafia, or what’s left of it, high-fiving now that the pain in their collective a$$ is taking a bit of a hiatus. Of course if there’s only one member of the Wimberley Mafia left, as I rather suspect, the high-fiving will be somewhat difficult. But maybe that one remaining member can silently congratulate himself that all of his Ho’oponopono’ing and cleaning and clearing and his yagyas finally worked. (Worked the way they did with Hurricane Rita and Hurricane Ike, is more like it.)
And maybe the smarmy little not-doctor with the hands-on healings and the 92% cancer cure rate will crow that it was HIS doing that made the little robot stand down. I’ll watch the Facebooks for signs of that.
And maybe the Internet Marketing Syndicate members will be breaking out the champagne and the hired escorts and saying that they “won” at last.
But evil has not won, and won’t. And contrary to appearances, it isn’t even getting a reprieve.
PS ~ Today was the day that Kevin Trudeau was supposed to have had a Very Important Court Hearing. I never could get the details about exactly when it was supposed to be, but several people said that True-dough could very well end up being arrested today. Little Snarget was one of the people crowing the most loudly about this, and taking credit for it to boot. Well, now it is moot, because apparently Trudeau's lawyers were able to buy him a little more time. Reportedly, the hearing is now scheduled for November 20. As I think I may have mentioned a few times before... no neat and tidy endings on this one. But evil has still not won.

I'm glad you reposted this, even if its just a partial exposure. Dude showed his true colors with that one. He also sounds like all the other GIN sheep..."you've been paid by Big Pharma to write negatively about us." The fuck out of here. LOL
You know what's funny? A guy like Dr. C comes out and "exposes" GIN and the KT Ponzi Scheme, because he was fired from his role, as we're both familiar with. But here's the kicker. A lot of GIN members continue to follow the same "gurus" who sell them pseudo-spirituality stuff and get-rich-quick info. They continue to follow guys like Dr. C, Abraham/Esther Hicks, Rhonda Byrne, and many others who are just putting out bullshit to take their money. So they've basically traded in one lie for another.
Thanks, D. That is pretty much what I've been saying since I first heard about the GIN sh-t hitting the fan this past spring. Abe-Hicks and Rhonda Byrne have been frequent "guests" on this blog for years. :-)
Just a couple more comments about the misogyny theme, though I don’t want to belabor it. As I noted in my post, I try NOT to see misogyny or sexism in every little bit of criticism that an individual man levels against an individual woman. The truth is that very often, criticism is just criticism, and I don't think women do themselves or other women any good by unfairly playing the misogyny/sexism card.
Last year, for instance, I argued passionately on several forums over the fact that women as well as men (including one of my favorite film directors, Kevin Smith) were defending Internet Marketing not-darling Naomi Dunford against the posts about her on the Salty Droid blog. Naomi started a whole hysterical "Salty Droid is inciting people to violence against me" meme on her blog, and people rallied to her side. She tried to couch Salty's posts about her scams as just another example of the insidious hatred of women that prevails on the Internet.
But I've been reading Salty's blog for years and have never detected a whiff of misogyny in either the little fake robot persona or the man behind the robot. Quite the opposite, in fact. I argued this to no avail on several of the more feminist-leaning forums where it was being discussed.
Flash forward to now, and to Little Lenny's Lies about the Cosmic Slut. (Sounds like the name of a cartoon or comic strip, doesn't it? :-)) In stark contrast to Salty's criticisms of Naomi Dunford, I see clear signs of misogyny in Lenny Coldwell's lies about me. I see that misogyny in the fact that in order to cast doubt on my credibility he felt compelled to lie about my being an ex-prostitute with an STD.
See, he could have stopped with the more logical (though equally false) tale: that I write because I am being paid off by Big Pharma, the medical profession, what have you. That would at least have been consistent with his own hysterical (and histrionic) martyr theme. It would have fed into his narrative of how he has been pursued and oppressed by the authorities for decades, simply because he wants to teach people how to cure themselves. As I said, the story of me as a shill is an equally big lie, but it would have been the more rational one for him to tell.
But he just couldn't stop there. He had to throw in that lie about prostitution. As a friend of mine wrote about this, "True colors shining through and all. It's interesting how misogynistic men who cannot handle strong women immediately go for the slut/prostitute slander. Almost as predictable as calling a strong woman a lesbian. But slut/prostie is more demeaning, like a slanderous verbal rape. It's just the men who can't own their manhood, or have no manhood to own, who act that way."
At least this is how Lenny's lies about me make him look -- not just to my friend, not just to me, but to numerous other people who have shared opinions about those stupid posts Lenny wrote on Facebook.
Even so, I don't want anybody to think that I'm going to go all histrionic myself about this. I see Lenny's lies as misogynistic and very probably actionable, but I also realize that where misogyny is concerned, what I'm dealing with -- and what most women in the First World are dealing with online -- is a cakewalk compared to the utter brutality that is going on in other parts of the world. I am continually reminded of this because Ron and I are currently working on a book project with a doctor who treats women in the Middle East who have been brutally burned and disfigured by men.

Connie, what stood out the most for me was not-doctor C's thinly-veiled threats, particularly his suggestion that you are a "cancer" that needed to be "cured."
I actually had to laugh when I read that. If his suggested "cure" for you is as real as his allegedly having cured more people than would be mathematically possible in one lifetime, you'll doubtless outlive the man. Especially if he were to attempt to effect the "cure" himself. :-)
Hey, Connie! I just saw the Salty Droid's latest post about this. That post calling you a cancer was definitely not cool at all. I can't even imagine someone would say such a thing. I feel for the people who actually believe this stuff.
I agree with you, the one lie would be "enough", why add this other layer (layers!) of falsehood?

Hi, Mariah, and thanks. No, Lenny has been pretty not-cool about this whole thing. On a subsequent FB post (also taken down, but I saved screen shots) he actually offered to pay authors' fees to anyone who sends him emails with info about me. He says he'll pay anyone whose emails he publishes on his blog.
Hasn't anybody figured out yet that C is hightly infected with "short man syndrome?" Not sure what his cancer cures will do for that one, but who knows, maybe he has some other short parts he is over-compensating for.
Meanwhile, he goes on to sell his goods. Need I say any more??

The funniest thing to me about Eine Kleine Cancerquacken ranting about sluts and prostitutes is that it's only an insult if one chooses to go along with the entire patriarchical mindset along with it. I have a dear friend who used to work as a prostitute and I think no less of her for it. In my mind, 'prostitute' is a job description, not a condemnation. I'd see it as just as inaccurate and silly as the Big Pharma accusation except for the fact that he MEANS it as a degradation and INTENDS it to diminish you.
(I'm a little bit tired of the Women Who Have Too Much Sex Are Bad And Awful mindset. It's sweet of guys to be so darn worried about my 'purity' and all, but last I checked, my body belongs to me and what I choose to do with it is my own damn business. Just saying.)
At this point, all he's doing is spewing hot (and smelly) air, which is all he's ever been able to do. He doesn't have the discipline or the ability to do anything useful, so he invents degrees and claims successes that he doesn't have because it's easier to make things up than to make them happen.
Ha yeah what is his cure for cancer? Stand on one leg, spin around three times and throw a lemon over your shoulder?
...and if you don't go with the Happy Hooker outlook, and see it as patriarchal exploitation then Quackdoc is still out of order for denigrating the exploited.
